​Amanda received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Philosophy. She loves to analyze life and overthink everything. After having her first child, she obtained her Master's Degree in Library and Information Science in 2005. During that time, she worked through a grant funded program to create course content and facilitate a content management system for an online professional development site. In 2008, she began working in the public library sector. She transitioned in 2018 from her full-time role as an Assistant Director in the public library to work on Stormcells full time.​​​​
