THE CHALLENGE
HOW MIGHT WE CREATE AWARENESS, TO BOTH SUPPORTERS AND THOSE IN NEED, OF TRIBE'S UNIQUE ABILITY TO "FILL GAPS" WITHIN THE COVINGTON COMMUNITY?
QUALIFIERS
- While there is a Board of Directors, the burden of operations relies primarily on Daniele. She may not have the time necessary to juggle multiple social media outlets or marketing campaigns
- Reaching out directly to staff at local schools, but this is time consuming and people "forget" about the organization/service. In addition, turnover is high at Holmes High School, so it is difficult to maintain connections.
- Brochures were mildly helpful in getting the word out; but, where do you put them & how do you give them out
- Daniele has been part of local committees (including school-based organizations) to network with other Covington community members
- Tribe was a member of the NKY Chamber of Commerce for one year, but the cost outweighed the benefit

CRAZY IDEAS
Albert Einstein said, "It's not that I'm so smart; it's just that I stay with problems longer." Your initial ideas will be rather typical and not really out of the ordinary. There may not be anything wrong with these ideas, but they oftentimes aren’t earth shattering. Many times, we don’t want to say or do anything “stupid.” Don’t be afraid to explore the stupid. While that one idea might be too farfetched, it may actually get you to a crazy idea that just might work. |
