Jodi Brandstetter
Jodi is the CEO and founder of Lean Effective Talent Strategies. Her organization includes The Hiring Blueprint, talent acquisition consulting firm and Talent Acquisition Evolution, a community for recruiting professionals to connect, learn, and work together. She also published her first book, Hire By Design, in 2020. Jodi is passionate about being an entrepreneur who focuses on providing talent acquisition strategies to businesses, career guidance and training and development. With 20 years of Human Resources, Recruiting and Talent experience, Jodi provides expertise in recruitment and sourcing strategies including online and passive sourcing, social media, grass roots and high-volume recruiting. Jodi uses design thinking methodology to create innovative selection and hiring processes focused on business and people. Jodi lives outside of Cincinnati, OH with husband, Ron, and daughter, Lena. |
Lindsey Conger
Lindsey earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo College of Law in 2005 and worked as a Master Case Facilitator at Brighton Center for five years. In 2010, Lindsey joined Northern Kentucky CAC as the Community Collaboration for Children Director. She currently serves as the Associate Director for Family Services for the Head Start and Early Head Start Programs. Lindsey resides in Cincinnati with her husband, Jason, and sons, Coen and Leo. |
Alex Glossner
Alex has lived in Northern Kentucky since 2014, when she graduated from Morehead State University. She is from Lexington, Ky but after graduating with her degree in Secondary English Education, she won the argument with her husband to move to NKY. They settled in Newport, KY where Alex taught 6th-8th ELA at St. Catherine of Siena and served as the Director for their After School Program & Librarian. From 2019 - 2020 Alex taught English at Newport Central Catholic High School. Her heart heart has always been in writing & making a difference to those around her. The COVID-19 pandemic had her re-evaluate her career and she decided to pursue other options. Alex currently lives in Union, Ky with her husband Stephen & Goldendoodle Maisie! She works at Learning Curve Tutoring Center where she is still able to support the education of K-12 students. |
Brett Godshall
Brett lives in Southgate, KY. She is a Department Manager for Barnes & Noble College. Her future plans include Law School (wish her luck!). Her sister, and Women's Think Tank Alumni Blair Godshall, are food reviewers/bloggers. They are passionate about promoting small business (follow them on Instagram @thegluttonousgirls). Lisa Grout
Lisa currently works as an HR Consultant with HR Elements, serving small organizations in the NKY and Cincinnati area. Prior to HR Elements, Lisa worked in several non-profit organizations in the Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati area, working collaboratively in leadership roles as a change agent for strategic HR initiatives. Lisa received her Masters Degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Northern Kentucky University, and graduated from Transylvania University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She lives in Northern Kentucky with her husband and their dog Scooter. She enjoys reading, spending time outside being active, photography, and is an avid traveler. |
Kristen Hedrick-Leopold
Kristen obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from NKU with a concentration on Women's Studies. She is now a police dispatcher for the University of Cincinnati Police Department. She worked in a wide variety of professions in the course of her life (including health care, sales, and a variety of customer service positions) before finally finding her niche in the public safety setting. Helping others in crisis is truly where she feels needed and where she thrives. She looks forward to assisting others in similar ways via the Women's Think Tank. Compassion, empathy, innovative minds, and kinship are what will make this year's project successful and I am grateful to be a part of it. |
Jaime Lyons
Jaime is the co-founder/owner of ASMI Style, a company that is committed to providing fairtrade accessories and modern unique fine jewelry through social entrepreneurship and livelihood creation. Her words to live by include: Dream Big, Work smart, Be Productive, Enjoy Life! Hobbies include horseback riding, gardening, hiking, and lounging on a beach. I have a pet box turtle, a blended family with three kids, and a husband. One thing many people may not know is that she is an ordained minister. |
Shelby Rupp
Shelby is 23 years old and a graduate from Thomas More University with a Bachelors Degree in Educational Studies and minor in Psychology. While at Thomas More, she competed on the women’s basketball team for 4 years. Currently, she is a full time nanny and real estate agent, as well! She has a passion working with young kids and helping others in her community. |
Marla Sprecht
Marla is currently the Sexual Risk Avoidance (SRA) Program Director with the New Hope Center. Prior to joining New Hope Center in 2007, Marla was the Capital Control Manager at Federated Department Stores (aka Macy’s) Corporate Office. Her initial B.S. degree with majors in Religion and English Literature was obtained from Union College. She later returned to school to earn a B.S. in accounting from Northern Kentucky University. Marla lives in Villa Hills with her husband Dave Bird and their very demanding 15-1/2-year-old Pomeranian Emma. Together Dave and Marla have one adult daughter, Sarahmarie. Marla’s passion is empowering teens to make healthy choices. |
